Your natural waistline is the narrowest area of the waist. To measure, relax your stomach and place the tape measure flat around the waist

To achieve the most accurate hip measurement, stand with feet together and measure around the widest point of you hips - this is generally one to two inches lower than the hip bones where your bottom is at the fullest.

Comfy but too long for short people

I really love the colour, fabric and general fit of these pants; however, even ordering them in XS (smallest size), they are too long for me (I am 5’2''), and I will need to have them altered. I will keep them, but certainly a consideration for other short people.
