The best running shorts are the ones you forget you're wearing. FreeLuxe is weightless with medium compression and no restriction. CompressLuxe Eco is firm, breathable and built for sweat. Both are quick-drying with bonded seams that won't chafe and secure pockets that won't bounce. Designed by runners, tested through distance, built to go the distance with you.

It depends on your run. For long runs and race day, In Pace is built from weightless FreeLuxe fabric with medium compression, five smart pockets and bonded seams that won’t chafe over distance. For high-intensity training, intervals and hybrid training, In Tempo uses CompressLuxe Eco for firm, breathable support that holds without holding you back. Both stay put. Both go the distance.
Go longer. Thigh friction builds over distance, and the extra coverage of an 18 cm short makes a real difference by kilometre 20. For speed work, tempo efforts and warmer conditions where you want maximum freedom, the 14 cm is the one. Both lengths are available across In Pace and In Tempo. Most runners reach for the longer length on long run days.
Start with the seams. Bonded seams remove the bulk and stitching that cause friction over distance, which is why every pair of our running shorts uses them. An 18 cm length reduces thigh friction on longer runs, and a stay-put waistband prevents shifting mid-stride. Get all three right and chafing stops being part of your run.
Enough pockets for everything you carry, placed where they won’t bounce. For long runs and race day, that means gel storage you can access mid-stride and a phone pocket that actually fits your phone. Our In Pace shorts have five smart pockets designed for exactly that. So you can focus on your pace, not your storage.
It comes down to your run. In Pace is built for distance, with lightweight FreeLuxe fabric, five smart pockets and bonded seams for long runs and race day. In Tempo is built for intensity, using CompressLuxe Eco for firm, breathable compression through intervals and tempo sessions. Same commitment to staying put. Very different runs.
Better is personal. Compression helps reduce muscle fatigue, supports movement and minimises chafing, which can make a real difference over long distances and high-intensity sessions. If you prefer a lighter feel, light compression delivers support without firmness. In Tempo uses CompressLuxe Eco for firm hold. In Pace uses FreeLuxe for light compression that feels barely there.
Cold wash on a gentle cycle and hang to dry. Skip the tumble dryer, as heat can affect compression and fabric integrity over time. Avoid fabric softener, as it breaks down the performance properties of FreeLuxe and CompressLuxe Eco. Treat them well and they’ll hold their shape through every session.
