Rise Nation

If you’re short for time but still want an intense workout, the 30 minute classes at Rise Nation will be your new workout best friend.

Although a 30 minutes class may sound like an easy feat, the momentum neutral climber machines require your body to do all of the work, all of the time, and the classes will leave you with a feeling of exhilaration, balance and strength.

Climbing also minimizes the impact on bones and joints and is a great way to train hard while lowering the risk of bodily stress and injury.

Runyon Canyon Park

A favourite of LA-based celebs, the Runyon Canyon hike is where LA locals and tourists alike go to see and be seen! The perfect combination of people watching and exercising – the 4.8km round-trip is mainly on sand and gravel and has plenty of steep hills so you can get a full body workout in as you Instagram to your heart’s content.

Along the way, you can peer into the backyards of million-dollar mansions and see iconic views of the Hollywood Sign, the Sunset Strip and the LA Basin.
